Your Privacy Matters

This page explains how Love Glamour Aesthetics & Training Academy uses and protects personal information, and how you can control optional cookies.

Privacy & Cookies

WHO WE ARE

Love Glamour Aesthetics & Training Academy is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@loveglamouraesthetics.co.uk or 07583 601180.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect your name, contact details, enquiries, appointment and payment status, account information, course and qualification details, assessment and portfolio records, consent forms, treatment records, relevant health and medication information, correspondence, and photographs or videos where appropriate.

We usually receive this information directly from you, including through this website, our booking platform, consultation forms, training enrolment and communications.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use personal information to:
• answer enquiries;
• arrange and manage bookings;
• assess treatment or course suitability;
• provide treatments and aftercare;
• deliver and assess training;
• maintain clinical, learner and business records;
• process or confirm payments;
• meet safeguarding, insurance, tax, awarding-body, quality-assurance and legal requirements; and
• send marketing only where permitted.

LAWFUL BASES

Our lawful bases may include taking steps before or performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, pursuing legitimate business interests and obtaining consent. Health and medication information is special-category data. Where required, we ask for explicit consent to use it safely for consultation, treatment and aftercare. Consent for optional marketing or promotional photographs can be withdrawn at any time.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS

Clinical images may be needed to assess suitability, plan treatment, monitor progress and maintain treatment records. We will request separate permission before using identifiable images for marketing, social media or training promotion. Refusing promotional use does not affect treatment or training.

WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH

We share only the information reasonably necessary with relevant providers, which may include Wix, our external booking platform, payment or finance providers, email and IT services, insurers, professional advisers, emergency or safeguarding services, and ProQual or other authorised awarding and quality-assurance personnel. Each provider is responsible for handling information lawfully within its role. We do not sell personal information.

INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we expect appropriate UK data-protection safeguards to be used, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.

HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

Records are kept only for as long as reasonably required for treatment safety, aftercare, learner certification, awarding-body requirements, insurance, safeguarding, accounting, legal claims and other regulatory purposes. Retention periods may vary according to the record and any applicable professional or insurer requirement. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

YOUR DATA-PROTECTION RIGHTS

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to:
• provide a copy of your information;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• delete information;
• restrict or object to its use;
• provide certain information in a portable format; or
• record the withdrawal of consent.

Some rights are limited where information must be retained for legal, insurance, safeguarding, clinical or awarding-body reasons. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

MARKETING

You can withdraw marketing consent or unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided or contacting us. Service messages about an existing booking, treatment or course are not marketing messages.

COOKIES

Essential cookies help the website, security, account, shop and booking functions operate. Optional analytics or marketing cookies should be used only after the required consent. You can accept, reject or change optional-cookie choices through the website’s cookie settings. Browser controls can also block cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect site functions.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Treatment or training involving anyone under 18 is accepted only where appropriate and with the required parent or guardian involvement. Additional eligibility, consent and safeguarding requirements may apply.

COMPLAINTS

Please contact us first if you have a privacy concern so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
