Skin Science & Advanced Anatomy

Learners will develop understanding of:

Chemical Peel Training

You will learn how to safely deliver professional peeling treatments for:

Including:

• Acid types and peel selection

• Depth of peel and skin response

• Step-by-step clinical application

• Neutralisation and recovery protocols

Microneedling Training

Microneedling is an advanced collagen-stimulation treatment used to improve:

• Acne scarring

• Enlarged pores

• Fine lines and wrinkles

• Skin firmness and elasticity

• Overall skin texture and glow

You will learn:

• Needle depth selection and adjustment

• Safe device handling and hygiene

• Sterile technique and infection control

• At least 6 observed practical chemical peel treatments, plus at least 5 observed consultations and skin assessments

Including different:

Microneedling

• At least 6 observed practical microneedling treatments: 3 face and 3 body

Including:

• consultation

• treatment protocol

• needle depth selection

Entry requires an Ofqual-regulated Level 4 Certificate or Diploma—not an Award—in Aesthetic Treatments and Skin Science, Micropigmentation, Dermaplaning or Skin Tightening Treatments. Microneedling learners must be aged 18 or over. Eligibility is checked before registration.
