Policies & Cancellations
TREATMENT APPOINTMENTS
DEPOSITS
A deposit is part-payment towards the booked treatment and secures appointment time. The balance is due as stated when booking or before treatment.
CANCELLING OR MOVING AN APPOINTMENT
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Where sufficient notice is given, the deposit may be transferred once to another suitable appointment.
LATE CANCELLATIONS AND NON-ATTENDANCE
Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or a client does not attend, we may retain an amount only to cover genuine and reasonable direct losses caused by the cancellation. We will take reasonable steps to reduce any loss, including offering the appointment to another client where practicable.
LATENESS
Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be shortened, adapted or rearranged to avoid affecting other clients. Treatment safety will not be compromised to recover lost time.
CONSULTATION, SUITABILITY AND PATCH TESTING
Every treatment remains subject to consultation, informed consent, medical and treatment suitability, any required patch test, and correct preparation. We may postpone or decline a treatment where it would not be safe, appropriate or within professional competence. If we cannot provide the booked service for reasons that are not the client’s fault, any payment for the undelivered service will be refunded or transferred as agreed.
ILLNESS AND EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Please contact us as soon as possible if illness or an exceptional event prevents attendance. Circumstances will be considered fairly and individually, but supporting information may be requested where appropriate.
RESULTS AND AFTERCARE
Individual results and healing responses vary. Clients must follow the agreed preparation and aftercare advice and promptly report any unexpected reaction or concern.
ONLINE AND TELEPHONE BOOKINGS
Where UK distance-contract cancellation rights apply, a consumer will normally have 14 days to cancel. If the client expressly asks for a service to begin during that period, a reasonable amount may be charged for work supplied before cancellation. The right to cancel may end once a service has been fully performed after the required request and acknowledgement.
STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy removes or limits statutory consumer rights.
TRAINING COURSES
DEPOSITS AND ENROLMENT
Course deposits are non-refundable because they contribute towards learner registration, administration and preparation costs. The deposit is deducted from the total course fee. Enrolment remains subject to identity, age, entry-requirement and prior-qualification checks, where applicable.
COOLING-OFF RIGHTS
Where a course is booked online or by telephone and statutory distance-contract rights apply, the learner will normally have 14 days to cancel. If the learner expressly requests course delivery, registration or another service to begin within that period, a reasonable charge may apply for work already supplied.
CANCELLING OR TRANSFERRING TRAINING
After any applicable cooling-off period, please provide at least 14 days’ notice to cancel or request a transfer. Subject to availability and qualification requirements, payment may be transferred once to another suitable date.
LATE CANCELLATION, WITHDRAWAL OR NON-ATTENDANCE
Any amount retained or charged will be limited to genuine and reasonable direct losses caused by the learner’s cancellation, such as registration, materials, tutor or venue costs that cannot reasonably be recovered. We will take reasonable steps to reduce those losses and will not charge twice for the same loss.
COURSE BALANCES AND PAYMENT PLANS
Course balances must be paid by the deadline confirmed at enrolment and, where applicable, before assessment, registration, completion or certification. Klarna, Clearpay or another finance provider may apply its own agreement and terms. A finance agreement is separate from the academy’s training and assessment requirements.
MODELS AND PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
The number and type of models, observations and practical assessments vary between qualifications and assessment plans. Unless the academy confirms otherwise in writing, learners are responsible for arranging suitable models who meet the applicable consent, age, suitability and evidence requirements.
LEARNER RESPONSIBILITIES
Learners must provide accurate information, meet entry requirements, attend agreed sessions, follow health, safety, safeguarding and professional-conduct requirements, complete authentic work, and submit evidence by agreed deadlines. The qualification must be completed within the course timeframe confirmed at enrolment. Any extension must be agreed in writing and may incur additional registration, assessment or learner-support fees.
ACHIEVEMENT AND CERTIFICATION
Payment and attendance do not guarantee achievement or certification. Qualifications are awarded only after all learning outcomes, assessment evidence, practical requirements, internal quality assurance and any external quality-assurance requirements have been successfully completed.
ACADEMY CANCELLATIONS
If the academy cancels training, we will aim to offer a reasonable alternative. If we cannot provide the undelivered course or an agreed alternative, payment relating to the undelivered service will be refunded. We are not responsible for avoidable travel or accommodation costs unless agreed in writing.
